Custom Motor Insulation Components & Stator Overmolding
We make motor insulation bobbins and frames, molded stator end insulators, and full or partial stator overmolding. Send us your drawing or physical sample so we can check the material, tolerances, overmolding area and other project requirements.
Two product routes
Start with how the plastic part is supplied
The first question is whether the plastic is supplied as a separate molded part or molded directly onto a customer-supplied unwound stator core or lamination assembly.
Route 01
Separate Molded Insulation Components
Separate molded plastic parts supplied for the customer’s motor or stator assembly.
Stator End Insulators
Main identification clue: the molded component is positioned at the ends of the laminated stator core. Upper and lower pieces are common, but not required for every design. Send us your drawing or physical sample so we can check the shape, fit and required tolerances.
Motor / Stator Bobbins & Frames
Main identification clue: the molded component is a separate carrier or winding structure. Send us your drawing or physical sample so we can check the size, shape and other project needs.
If the distinction is unclear, send the drawing or physical sample. We can review the part by structure and use before confirming the product description.
Route 02
Stator Overmolding
Full or partial plastic overmolding for customer-supplied unwound stator cores or lamination assemblies. Send us the part drawing and core information so we can check the overmolding area, material, tooling, tolerances and inspection needs for the project. Our typical scope ends after overmolding and applicable inspection; winding is not included.
Other custom motor plastic components — We can review other motor- or stator-related custom molded insulation components from a 2D/3D drawing or physical sample to check whether the part fits our process.
What to send us
Send us a 2D/3D drawing or a physical sample. If available, also tell us the material or performance needs, key tolerances, testing needs and expected quantity. If some details are missing, send what you have and we will tell you what else is needed for the project review.
- 2D/3D drawing or physical sample
- Where the part will be used
- Material or performance requirements, if known
- Critical dimensions and tolerances, if applicable
- Sample and expected production quantities
- Testing or compliance requirements, if applicable
- Target schedule

How We Check Your Project
We first check whether you need a separate molded insulation part or stator overmolding.
For a separate bobbin, frame or end insulator, send us a 2D/3D drawing or a physical sample. For stator overmolding, send us the part drawing and information about the customer-supplied unwound stator core or lamination assembly. Please show which areas need plastic coverage and which areas must remain clear.
We then check the material needs, key dimensions, tolerances, expected quantity, testing needs and target schedule. Final materials, molded-part tolerances and inspection requirements are confirmed for each project.
From review to production
How Your Part Moves to Production
Step 01
Project Review
We review your drawing, sample or stator core information and confirm what still needs to be checked.
Step 02
Mold and Samples
After the project requirements are confirmed, we develop the mold and make samples. We inspect the samples before sending them to you for approval.
Step 03
Production and Inspection
Mass production starts after sample approval. Applicable inspections are carried out during production and before shipment. Electrical testing is included only when required by the customer, drawing or project.
Send Us Your Motor Insulation Project
Tell us whether you need a separate molded insulation part or stator overmolding. Send the drawing, physical sample or unwound stator core information you already have, together with any known material, tolerance, quantity, testing and schedule requirements. We will review the details and tell you what else is needed.
